Steve very kindly stopped and repaired the puncture on my mountain bike in the New Forest. I can’t thank him enough and i got back to the campsite a lot quicker thanks to him.
I’ll be booking on to one of his tours when I’m next in the area.

I just completed a 43k bike ride with Steve and I’d like to say what an amazing tour I had, lots of different trails, different scenery and Steve was a pleasure to ride with, gave me advice on riding skills which made riding a much smoother experience. I highly recommend Steve to anyone who is looking for a guided tour of the New Forest.

I’ll be back for more !!!!

Not having to pre-plan a route and then try follow it in an area we had not ridden in before was so relaxing. We did just over 40km of varied paths and it was lovely to see the different areas of New forest. So much still to see

My Son and I had a wonderful tour of the beautiful New Forest with Steve. Not being experienced off road cyclists we learnt so much, from the pre ride safety check right through to the end of the ride. Our ride was matched perfectly to our capabilities, and ridden at our pace. We felt safe at all times, Steve is an excellent guide. The day gave us fun, achievement and excitement and we are already booked for our next ride.

What a super ride Steve organised.
It was the perfect experience to just enjoy the ride and the scenery of the new forest on the superb gravel tracks and ride with someone who is knowledgeable about cycling, bikes, the local area and all the cycling routes. Thank you Steve I had a super time, the scenery was beautiful and I was in extremely safe hands Will definitely book again soon!!

The attention to detail, whether this was Steve’s care for his fellow riders, the pre ride to check the route was 100% suitable, through to all the safety checks and back up maps was fantastic. Whether your a novice or experienced rider then a designed and guided ride will suit you. The torrential rain did not dampen our ride, we had a brilliant day, riding at our pace through a beautiful countryside. Stops were made as requested to take photos and a rest. Thoroughly looking forward to our next adventure with Steve!

Booked New Forest Cycling Tours to provide us with a wonderful, safe, fun, informative, challenging, guided ride within the New Forest. Qualified with British Cycling we knew our Ride Leader Steve was the man for the job. Pre-ride bike check, safety briefing, managing the group during the ride and sharing his passion, history and love of the NF. We were definitely in safe hands. A wonderful route was planned for us ensuring all riders were able to achieve and enjoy the experience. Each rider completed a health and fitness form pre-ride. Steve carried a first aid kit along with a mechanics bag – fixing our puncture quickly We have already booked our next adventure with Steve. There were lots of people on their bikes in the NF looking at maps… lost – they needed Steve

The day started with a 2.5 hour drive to the New Forest from Kent. We went straight to the agreed meeting point, Headlands Farm Coffee Shop West Wellow. This is a lovely new farm coffee shop, with plenty of parking space, and is manned by friendly staff. As we were early we decided to partake in Breakfast, for me Eggs Benedict and my cycling buddy had Bacon in a Brioche bun both accompanied with a latte.
Our cycling guide, Steve, arrived promptly at the pre arranged time and we soon set off on our 40km (or in English money, 25 mile) route.
From the farm shop we cycled on a quiet road to get to the first off road section. This was a gravel road past some grass moorland. Soon we were into the traditional New Forest scenery and spotted our first group of donkeys leisurely standing at the side of the road.
As we continued the ride, Steve told us about the “Commoners” grazing rights and how the animals are essential for the management of the woodland and moorland.
Our route was a good mix of quiet road and gravel tracks though open moorland and Forest. At times we were well into the forest, on good quality fire roads, without another person in sight, with the prospect of seeing deer, ponies and other wildlife.
At one point we had cycled through a ford and came across a herd of cows ambling down the road towards us. This provided us entertainment as we watched 3 cars trying to deal with ensuing traffic jam on the single lane carriage way. No road rage here, the cows knew they were in charge!
All too soon we had completed our 4 hour ride but were welcomed back to the farm coffee shop with more coffee and Sausage rolls.
Great memorable day.
Thanks Steve!
