New Forest Cycling Tours offer bespoke guided bike tours in some of the country’s most beautiful scenery. Whether you’re an experienced rider or just getting back in the saddle, we can accommodate all abilities and styles of riding.
As the leading provider of mountain biking activities in the area, we offer:

- Or a more intense full-day ride (not forgetting the obligatory pub/cafe pit stop halfway),
Whatever your needs, we’ve got a ride for you – and if you’ve travelled light and don’t have your bike with you, we can easily arrange one for you. E-Bikes are welcome too !
About the tours
You’ll get the chance
to experience parts of the forest that visitors don’t often get to see. We plan
our routes using a network of Forestry Commission tracks, bridleways and byways, using our local knowledge to create
routes we know you’ll love. If there’s somewhere you’re especially keen to see
in the Forest, just let us know and we can plan out a route that will cover it.
Our shorter tours (1 to 2 hours) tend to cover around 15-20km £20 per person, with half-days averaging around 40-50km £45 pp and full days 50km+ £95pp. Some of our favourite areas for riding are Bolderwood, Linwood and Rhinefield. But there is nowhere in the New Forest that isn’t beautiful and perfect for a cycle ride. On route, see if you can spot the local wildlife – there’s always plenty to see or during the summer, take one of the rides that takes in the Reptile Centre – perhaps you will see an adder basking in the sun !
About New Forest Cycling Tours
The man behind New Forest Cycling Tours is Steve Edmed, a cycling-fanatic. He has extensive local knowledge from many childhood holidays and weekend walking and cycling trips in the Forest. Steve and his wife Rachel have relocated to the forest to live the dream.
At present, Steve is the only cycle leader approved by Forestry England. Steve is also a fully qualified mountain bike leader accredited through British Cycling and is fully insured and qualified as an outdoor first aider.
